Written and produced by Shilpa Bakre and directed by yours truly, “India Rising” is a short documentary about the 86% emerging markets that are rapidly becoming the most important economic forces on the planet. It is intended ultimately to be a feature length documentary or perhaps even a series. As you can imagine, the content is prolific and covers several continents. It is based upon the writings of Dr. Vijay Mahajan, specifically his book “The 86% Solution”.
“India Rising”showcases three companies engaged in social entrepreneurship in the different states within the country of India and the impact their efforts are having.
